Freestanding + window tunnel
A full-size walk-in enclosure placed anywhere in your yard, linked to a window by an enclosed tunnel. Your cat comes and goes on their own — no door duty for you.
Best for self-serve accessWe design, build, and install custom outdoor cat enclosures right in your backyard — so your cat gets sunshine, fresh air, and birdsong without the traffic, coyotes, or great escapes.
Indoor cats live longer — but they miss out on the things that make a cat a cat. A catio is the best of both: the enrichment of the outdoors with none of the dangers.
Cars, coyotes, hawks, dogs, disease, and getting lost are the leading causes of outdoor-cat injuries. A sealed enclosure removes every one of them.
Fresh air, sunbathing, bird-watching, and new smells keep cats mentally stimulated — which cuts down on boredom, anxiety, and indoor misbehavior.
Free-roaming cats are hard on local songbirds and lizards. A catio lets your cat watch the wildlife instead of hunting it.
No more 2 a.m. searches or worrying when they don't come home. You always know exactly where your cat is — happy, in their own space.
We come out, measure your space, talk through how your cat will get in and out, and sketch a layout that fits your home and budget.
You get a fixed price with materials, dimensions, and timeline spelled out. No surprises, no flat-pack instructions waiting for you on the porch.
We construct the whole enclosure on-site, attach any cat door or tunnel, and clean up. Most builds are done in a couple of days.
Every catio is custom, but most start as one of these three. Not sure which suits your cat and your yard? That's exactly what the free design visit is for. (Illustrations shown — photos are of real builds as we complete them.)

Best for self-serve accessA walk-in catio that stands on its own on a lawn, patio, or deck. You head out together through the human door — and a tunnel can always be added down the road.
Best for yards & patiosA compact powder-coated metal enclosure that frames a window, with a cat-door insert in the glass. A few sizes available — ideal for small spaces, balconies, and renters.
Best for tight spacesCedar or pressure-treated, metal or clear roof, open mesh or solid lower walls, attached to the house or freestanding — here's the range of styles and finishes we build toward. Use them to picture what's possible for your own space.
These are design visualizations created to show styles and finishes — not photos of specific completed jobs. For photos of a finished enclosure, see our build below.
Pressure-treated lumber, galvanized hardware cloth, and a real metal roof for shade. Here's a freestanding 8′ × 10′ enclosure we built in Dallas.

Every catio is custom, but these are common starting points. Final pricing depends on your yard, materials, and add-ons — your quote is always exact.
Our two cats spend all morning out there now. It looks like it belongs in the yard, and I finally stopped worrying about them slipping out the front door.
Most backyard builds land between roughly $2,000 and $6,000 depending on size, materials, roof type, and add-ons like tunnels or shelving. Small window catios start lower. You'll get an exact written quote after we see your space — the consultation is free.
We build throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Arlington, Irving, Frisco, McKinney, Denton, and the surrounding suburbs. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
However works best for your home — a cat door through an exterior wall or window, a tunnel from a window, or simply through the human door when you're out there together. We figure this out during the design visit.
Most enclosures are built and installed in one to three days once we start. Larger custom compounds take a bit longer. We'll give you a timeline with your quote.
Yes — that's exactly what the materials are chosen for. Pressure-treated framing, galvanized mesh, and a metal roof handle the heat, UV, and downpours far better than a lightweight kit.
Most freestanding catios are small enough not to require one, but rules vary by city and HOA. We're happy to help you understand local requirements before we build.
